Overheard in Georgetown
As I was walking up Wisconsin trying to shop this weekend it was quite crowded, so I had to squeeze right past two girls my age and overheard the following exchange.
First: "One of my students came by to see me the other day."
Second: "At a strip club?"
I told you Georgetown was getting tacky.

What. You don't schedule your meetings at Camelot?
Better than scheduling them at Archibald's...
HAHA. I totally agree...I walked by this girl the other day. She was sitting outside of the Old Stone House, talking on her (what looked to be) gold Razr, dressed like an ad for Abercrombie, and was saying into her phone, "Yeah, so..we were all just so bored the other night we decided to go dumpster diving..."
Whatever tickles your pickle, I suppose....=-)
was she wearing a ribbon belt?
Ugg, the gross people of the 'burbs (I'm looking at you Virginia) take over on the weekends. This is why I shop during the week! :)
I particular enjoy the dig on the Jersey shore in the link. That is quite possibly the worst place in America. Staten Island being a very close second.
VK-Hmm, well the ribbon-belt mention in question actually occurs in a post I did in May '06, so really I'm only one year behind you, not two. And if I may say, following behind you is quite an honor. ;-)
